READING, THE THIRD BEST THING TO DO IN BED

Most of us like the warm, horizontal comfort of the bed, for our daily rendez-vous with literature. If this is the case, you will have no doubt more than once nodded off in the course of the evening, only to find yourself awakening with a shock and read the same phrase for the fifth time, trying stubbornly to stick to the plot.  All of this to realize the next morning at breakfast that you've forgotten half of what you've read the night before.
